Advanced graphics card Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti is to launch today – Read Details
Nvidia has confirmed that its latest GPU, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will go on sale at 6 am PT/ 9 am ET on Wednesday, December 2. This graphics card is said to have been designed using Ampere Architecture.
The card also comes with ray tracing and AI-powered DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and it would allow you to play PC games at 1440p resolution just like the RTX 3070.
Priced Rs. 35,900 for the Founders Edition, this card is said to provide faster performance than the previous generation 2019 RTX 2080 Super or the 2018 RTX 2080 graphics cards. The card will be available from major retailers and e-retailers, as well as in gaming systems worldwide.
In some countries, Nvidia is also offering users a one-year subscription to the Nvidia GeForce Now cloud gaming service if you buy the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.
As per Verge’s Editor Tom Warren, on popular games like Control, Call of Duty: Warzone, Death Stranding, and Fortnite, the 3060 Ti card put up some impressive frame rates at 1440p resolution. Some of them were even tested with ray-tracing enabled.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition graphics card features 38 Streaming Multiprocessors (SM), 4,864 CUDA cores, 152 third-generation Tensor cores and 38 second-generation RT cores. It also has 152 texture units 80 ROPs (Render Output Units) and a memory clock of 7,000MHz.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX also comes with Nvidia Reflex technology for reduced system latency and a more responsive gaming experience. It also supports advanced GeForce Experience features such as recording and streaming gameplay and taking screenshots.
