Alan Wake 2 is a single-player psychological survival horror experience. It centers around horror writer Alan Wake.
The game designers have laid out a welcoming experience for new players without prior experience. Along with it, they have also ensured to blend it with upgraded challenges for old experienced players.
The designers have also ensured creative choice of freedom for the players. As events in the game reveal, there comes a point where players can choose the order in which they want to play Wake or Anderson’s stories. With this, the designers want the players to be in control of how they want to experience the game’s story.
Alan Wake 2 also comes in a plethora of locations. This comprises the Pacific Northwest, the towns of Bright Falls, Cauldron Lake, the town of Watery, and Dark Place.
Remedy expressed that they have poured their heart and soul into the development of the game. They are excited for fans to finally experience it. They also look forward to sharing more inputs about the game in the upcoming months.
