Battlegrounds Mobile India: Krafton disables 25 lakh accounts for cheating

Krafton has also installed additional anti-cheat methods to keep the game free of hackers and cheats

Since its introduction, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton’s India-only version of PUBG Mobile, has taken a number of efforts to ensure that cheaters and hackers who employ unfair techniques to gain an advantage over other players do not harm the game’s experience.

As part of its crackdown on unfair gamers, the developer has now erased 25 lakh accounts from the game for cheating. Krafton temporarily banned 7,06,319 accounts and permanently banned 25,19,692 accounts.

“We assured you at the end of September that fair gameplay has always been and will continue to be our top focus. On the Battlegrounds Mobile India page, Krafton remarked, “Today, we have some fantastic news for you.”
“Cheaters have no place in BGMI, and we’ve been taking drastic measures to eliminate cheaters from the game in order to ensure a fair gaming environment for our gamers.” Yes, we are aware that even after our prior announcement on September 30th, several players encountered cheaters.”

“We’ve now removed the majority of the cheaters from the game, making it a lot more enjoyable experience,” the developer added. “We’ll continue to take whatever steps are necessary to keep BGMI fair and enjoyable.”

Stronger Cheat Detection and Banning Mechanism New modifications to make BGMI cheat-free

The game’s technologies “continue to evolve,” according to Krafton, as it adds near real-time tools to detect cheats and prohibit users who utilize illicit methods.

Permabans

Krafton has stated that all BGMI bans are permanent at this time and that anyone who employs unfair means now will have “no opportunity for a second chance.”

Manually verify and prohibit any high-ranking accounts that use or promote illicit applications.

According to Krafton, accounts that have utilised or encouraged unlawful programmes among high-ranking officials are being monitored in real-time. If any illicit programmes are discovered, the developer will impose permanent bans.

 

YouTube channels are being blocked.

Krafton will also collaborate with YouTube to monitor content in real-time for channels that promote unlawful programmes, and if any are discovered, they will be blocked.
