PS5 users will be getting a lot of new games this year while some are scheduled to launch next year on PS5 console. Gearbox Software and 2K have today announced that Borderlands 4 will be launching in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The game can be purchased through Steam and Epic Games Store. Though the game is available on the wishlist now. In the above trailer, the players are shown a glimpse of an all-new planet. The players will be resuming the role of a legendary Vault Hunter as they search for secret alien treasure while blasting everything in sight.
It looks like this upcoming game will be continuing the legacy of other titles in the series. According to Randy Pitchford, founder and President of the Gearbox Entertainment Company, “The team and I at Gearbox have a lot we’ve wanted to do with Borderlands since we first introduced the looter shooter genre to the world with our original game. All of us at Gearbox have massive ambitions for Borderlands 4 and are putting everything we have into making everything we love about Borderlands better than ever before while taking the game to new levels in exciting new directions.”
