Garena Free Fire to get new weapons and updated features
The downtime for maintenance will be from 9.30 am to 5.15 pm IST. The developers said that the players would not be able to enter the game during its care, but they can continue to play as usual.
A famous battle royale game, Garena Free Fire, is all set to have an upgrade that brings major updates on weapons rebalancing and assault rifles. By increasing the damage stats, improving the fire rate, and expanding the range, the upgrade would make M4A1 stronger. In addition to this, the max recoil will go down and the time needed to recoil when driving also goes down. In addition to this, while reducing the recoil duration, the upgrade would increase the damage caused by P90 SMG.
The Garena Free Fire upgrade will offer dual-wielding options concerning the Vector SMG pistol. This means that there’ll be twice the damage. The selection would be limited, though. Nonetheless, this is Garena Free Fire’s first-ever weapon that gets dual-wielding choices.
Some of the other modifications that the update will offer include Bermuda Shells, which will introduce Fireworks and Music Arcade in addition to Dynamic Lighting. This is in addition to changes to the surfboard and change of firearm status.
The update also brings an Operation Chrono event that will allow players to play as Chrono, a footballer-based Cristiano Ronaldo character. With modern technologies, the event is based on a dystopian slum.
Cristiano Ronaldo said that it’s a beautiful feeling to have a character modeled after him in Free Fire and have the entire world shift along with it throughout the game. The Garena team has worked on lots of new features and elements for Operation Chrono in the game.
The dedicated Chrono microsite will unveil further information.
