God of War 2018 will be released for PC: Here are the specifics

On January 14, 2022, Sony has officially revealed a PC port for the PlayStation smash success.

God of War (2018), a PlayStation 4 exclusive, is now available on PC. Sony has revealed that the smash-hit game, which received acclaim from reviewers and fans alike, will be ported to the PC.

Sony stated in a blog post announcing the port that the game had already sold 19.5 million copies since its initial release, and that the main goal was to “highlight the exceptional content the team created and leverage the powerful hardware that the platform offers to create a uniquely breathtaking and high-performance version of the game.”

On the PC release, the game will offer 4K resolution and unlocked framerates. Higher resolution shadows, better screen-space reflections, and improved ambient occlusion with GTAO and SSAO will all be included in God of War PC’s graphics settings and options.

Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), which is available on RTX GPUs, will be supported in the game. Support for 21:9 ultra-widescreen is another option.

The blog post says, “From heart-pounding battle to peaceful times when you may soak in the surreal grandeur of the Norse wilds across the Nine Realms.”

“With our widescreen panoramic assistance, every moment will seem more like a true theatrical experience.”

Full keyboard and mouse binding compatibility is also promised, as well as support for the DualShock 4 and DualSense wireless controllers. Purchasers of the game on PC will also receive special skins and armour sets to use in the game.

On January 14, 2022, the game will be released. It is presently available for pre-order for Rs 3,299 on Steam and Epic Games Store.
