A recent retailer listing suggested that the game would be released on 17th September 2025 but later the retailer apologized to fans for listing a fake release date for GTA 6, disappointing a lot of fans.
Well now yet another expected launch timeline of this game has surfaced online. In its quarterly earnings call, Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that GTA 6 is all set to release this year, and to be precise the company expects GTA 6 will launch in the fall of this year. This suggests that GTA 6 could launch somewhere between late August and December in 2025.
GTA 5 made its debut in the year 2013 and holds the title of the second-best-selling game video game of all time. And now fans seem to have some bigger expectations from this upcoming game. The trailer of GTA 6 received 90.6M views on YouTube in just 24 hours.
As per the 90-second trailer of GTA 6, the game will be set in Miami-inspired Vice City. There is also a female protagonist named Lucia whose story starts in prison in the video. From fast-paced cars to snippets of social media like TikTok everything has taken the internet by storm.
