PlatinumGames to release shoot ’em up ‘Sol Cresta’ – February 22nd

PlatinumGames Inc is a Japanese video game developer company, found in October 2007.
PlatinumGames is going to release its ‘Sol Cresta’ on 22 February 2022, it has announced just this weekend. Though the developers planned to finish ‘shmup’ (aka “Shoot ‘em up” or STG) by end of 2021 but actually delayed the release at the last moment to provide its development team more time to polish the game.

PlatinumGames posted a tweet – “It’s official! The release date for #SOLCRESTA is February 22nd, 2022! Thanks for watching the stream! We hope you all had a blast as much as we did!…”on23January, 2022.
with its new release, PlatinumGames says that its fans will have a chance to pick up ‘Sol Cresta’ on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 for $40.

What makes ‘Sol Cresta’ interesting is that it was started as a joke or April Fools’ gag. It was a cruel joke played on fans in 2020, but Platinum came back exactly after one year with the implementation of its game.
