PlayStation initiated new plans for PS5 Game Streaming and updated PlayStation Plus Game Catalog

June 14, 2023, marked one year of the launch of PlayStation’s “PlayStation Plus” plus tiered plans. To mark this, PlayStation will offer 10 days of activities for the PlayStation community. These activities will happen from June 20 through June 30. This is PlayStation’s way of expressing their gratitude to players across the world who have supported “PlayStation Plus”.

PlayStation Plus tiered plans were released last year. They ensured new benefits to services like Game Catalog and Classics Catalog. PlayStation Plus also provided Game Trials for blockbuster titles. The subscriptions were available in the options of PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium/Deluxe.

PlayStation presented exciting news for their PlayStation Plus Premium members. They are currently testing cloud streaming for certain PS5 games which support it. Upon the launch of this cloud streaming, the cloud game streaming feature will be directly accessible on your PS5 console. If you are a Premium member, you will be able to log in to your favorite game directly without downloading them first on your PS5 console.

Titles in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Game Trials, certain digital titles which players own, will support cloud game streaming features.

In recent developments, PlayStation announced some new titles which will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. They are Far Cry 6 (PS4/PS5), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge (PS4/PS5), Rogue Legacy 2 (PS4/PS5), Inscryption (PS4/PS5), Soulstice (PS5), Tacoma (PS4), Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (PS4) and Killing Floor 2 (PS4).

Additionally, PlayStation will also make WWE2K23 for PS4 available on June 20.
