Sony has launched its Black Friday sale in India, offering significant discounts across its PlayStation hardware lineup and game catalog until December 5. The sale is available at multiple retailers including Sony Center, Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Croma, Reliance, and Vijay Sales.
The PS5 console, previously priced at ₹54,990, is now available for ₹47,490. The same pricing applies to the PS5 Fortnite® Cobalt Star bundle, which includes the console, a DualSense controller, and a Fortnite game voucher. The Digital Edition of the Fortnite bundle sees an even steeper discount, dropping from ₹44,990 to ₹37,490.
PlayStation Plus subscriptions are also included in the sale, with significant first-year discounts across all tiers. PS Plus Deluxe receives a 30% discount to ₹5,319, PS Plus Extra drops 25% to ₹5,024, and PS Plus Essential gets a 20% cut to ₹3,159. Regular pricing resumes after the first 12 months.
The most substantial discount appears on the PS VR2 hardware. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle has received a dramatic ₹25,000 price cut, falling from ₹61,999 to ₹36,999. The standalone PS VR2 unit is now available at ₹37,999, down ₹20,000 from its original ₹57,999 price tag.
DualSense controllers have also seen significant price reductions. The standard black and white variants are now priced at ₹3,990, while other color options are available at ₹4,390, both representing a ₹2,000 discount from their original prices.
The sale extends to the PlayStation game library, with notable titles receiving substantial discounts:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Deluxe Edition is reduced by 38% to ₹3,099
- EA SPORTS FC™ 25 receives a 50% cut to ₹2,499
- Hogwarts Legacy sees a 70% reduction, with the PS5 version priced at ₹1,319
- FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH and its various editions are discounted by 40%
- Recent releases like Star Wars Outlaws and Baldur’s Gate 3 are discounted by 25% and 20% respectively
Popular titles like GTA V are also included, with the PS5 version available at ₹1,399 after a 50% discount. Most games offer multiple editions, including standard, deluxe, and ultimate versions, each with corresponding discounts.
