PUBG Mobile is back Oops we mean Battleground Mobile India is back with Facebook Logins
Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced that, from November 5, logins with Facebook accounts will be blocked unless you also utilize the Facebook app. Currently, the modification is only being deployed on Android phones. According to the game, the change is due to a policy update in the new Facebook SDK.
Publisher Krafton has made a fresh notification on its website about the move, claiming that “logins will be disabled unless the Facebook App is installed on your smartphone” after November 5.
Although the change was announced a few months ago, the actual implementation date was not revealed until today.
Why is it vital to change?
Facebook’s new SDK (software development kit) blocks third-party apps from logging in to its accounts using the Android browser (the small login window that appears when you click the “Login with Facebook” option on an app without having the specific Facebook app installed).
If your Battlegrounds Mobile India account is linked to your Facebook account, the new modification makes the Facebook Android application an indirect need for login. This modification has no effect if your Battlegrounds Mobile India account is linked to your Google Play or Twitter account.
What can I do if I connect to my BGMI account using Facebook?
All players need to do now is download the dedicated Facebook app if they don’t already have it to continue playing Battlegrounds Mobile India with their Facebook account. Battlegrounds Mobile India will allow players to log in with Facebook via a pop-up once the software is installed.
