Responding to Battle Royale Reports, Halo Infinite Dev
343’s group officer says the claims are “unfounded.”
Halo’s community manager has replied to a recent rumor about Halo Infinite, and he has shut it down. Recently, a tale also emerged suggesting that one aspect of the long-term project of Microsoft for Halo Infinity will be to add a royal combat mode in 2021.
The community organizer at 343 Industries, Brian Jarrard, replied with a tweet to this scuttlebutt.
“Nothing gets a post-holiday Monday going like fresh unfounded Halo Infinite rumors,” he said.
Jarrard doesn’t say the name of Battle Royale, but it’s evident that his tweet is in reaction to the new hypothesis about the long-running title. Jarrard noted in a follow-up tweet that he recognizes that fans are eager for more Halo Infinite knowledge. To that end, 343 plans to release a year-end update” that will include some fresh material.
Brian Jarrard said that nothing gets a post-holiday Monday like new baseless speculation about Halo Infinite.
Brian Jarrard also added that he is aware that with real news they might help solve this. They definitely have some items that are overdue and they’re happy to talk about more. They’re in the process of putting out an update for the year-end.
What we do know about the multiplayer aspect of Halo Infinite is that it would be free-to-play, partially funded by micro-transactions. 343 is yet to reveal any online gameplay, but some of the armour coatings of AKA skins that would be used in the multiplayer aspect have been released by the studio.
