PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS has officially announced on Twitter today at 12:30 PM that the Summerfest along with the Update 24.2 is coming soon.
Update 24.2 is said to introduce a revitalized Arcade experience, an expanded Reputation system for cultivating a vibrant community, etc.
The newly revamped Arcade has several game modes waiting to be played. Time-limited LABS will not be present. The Arcade is now home to both brand-new and beloved modes, accessible whenever the users like.
The interface has also been transformed by featuring a more intuitive hub and lobby room. In Arcade, there will be no more BP but Arcade points or AP as the new reward system. The time spent playing will accumulate AP for the players, which can be used to claim rewards.

At the end of the matching page, players will now be informed about their Arcade journey, including earned AP, achievements, and rewards from different modes. The Special Arcade Medal is a new reward that can be earned with the new update.
More incentives are provided to the Reputation system to improve the gaming experience. Through the end-of-match page, users can now give compliments to teammates to foster a positive gaming environment.
Better rewards will be available for a higher Reputation. Check out the Reputation level and corresponding rewards on the career – overview page and get to know fellow players better by viewing their Reputation levels through their profiles.
An upgraded Report function that enables more comprehensive reporting of in-game misconduct, advertisements, and cheating with an added feature of detailed text input is added. 10 new areas are added to intensify Battle Royale.
