The Trailer for ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’ Reveals Harley Quinn lead
Following the premiere of the first teaser for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at DC FanDome in 2020, DC has now released a new look at the upcoming video game. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is the first game in Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham trilogy, which includes Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009, Arkham City in 2011, and Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is Rocksteady’s direct sequel to Arkhamverse. “This is a continuation of the Arkhamverse,” said Rocksteady’s creative director Sefton Hill at last year’s FanDome, “so a lot of the threads and themes you’re going to see come to completion in this game.”
Brainiac will assault Metropolis in the first trailer, but more significantly, he will mind-control Superman, which leads to the title’s goal statement. Amanda Waller revealed in the first video that Superman is the “Alpha Target,” but it’s unknown what other Justice League heroes the Suicide Squad will have to murder — but The Flash appears in the current narrative teaser, as does The Penguin, whom the Squad appears to enjoy torturing.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was announced by Rocksteady in August 2020, and the first trailer for the game was shown during last year’s DC FanDome. Since then, there hasn’t been much news regarding the game. The game will include four playable characters: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang, according to the first teaser. Suicide Squad will also have a four-player co-op multiplayer option, and players may swap between characters when playing solo because the other characters are AI-controlled.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox One X/S, and Windows in 2022. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League now has a fresh appearance.
