The upcoming souls-like role-playing games ‘Elden Ring’ is going to be released in February 2022, so just a little gap is left between the gamers and FromSoftware’s net epic title. Elden Ring is now busy in marketing and has also released a fifteen minute preview for players to know what they can expect from the game. The game will be set in the bleak, dark fantasy world of the Lands Between and sometimes The Great Runes after the destruction of Elden Ring and its shards. The players will have to find all the shards, restore the Elden Ring and entitled themselves as the Elden Lord.
But along with this, FromSoftware has also announced the Elden Ring’s Collector’s Editions, whether premium or ordinary. Moreover, Bandai Namco has also released an official spec and compatibility for the game so as to make players gain access to which platform will work for them.
- Windows PC
The game will run at the maximum resolution of upto 3840x2160P (4K) with a framerate of 60 FPS. Along with this, it will support HDP at launch and Ray tracing with a patch. It is almost expected as the modern AAA games provide the same facilities so the PC using players will not find anything strange.
- PlayStation (PS4, PS5 Pro, PS5)
There are a variety of qualities available as the games is available of PS4, PS5 Pro, PS5. PS4 will allow a maximum resolution of 1920x1080P with framerate of 30 FPS while the PS5 Pro will run at 3200x1800P with 30 FPS. PS5 is also the only PlayStation console generation that supports up to 60 FPS with HDR support. Namco also stated, “If you port your PS4 game to PS5 and continue to play, your saves files cannot be transferred back to PS4.”
- XBOX (One, One X, Series S, Series X)
The resolutions available are varied in the different models of XBOX. Xbox One has achieved up to 1600x900p with 30 FPS and an Xbox Series X achieved up to 3840x2160p. And Series S allows upto 2560x1440p at 60 FPS. XBOX provides cross-generation compatibility where the saved files can be transferred back and forth.
The game will be released on 25th February 2022. The impressive visuals of the game will not let the players down on any platforms it is released but for players to make better decisions according to their convenience the console spec has been released.
