The opening ceremony happened on 8 July 2023 and was streamed live on Twitch’s official site. The next Twitch stream will go live today, 9 July 2023, at 2.30 pm. On day one of the event, LittleBigWhale, the famous streamer addressed the gathering and expressed why Twitch was excited to host TwitchCon in France.
Notable speakers expressed that Twitch is the home of live streaming because of the communities that each person built over the years of Twitch. The popular streaming platform has been growing and building itself for more than a decade. Alongside, the efforts of the communities made it possible for Twitch to stand out as a unique, special, platform.
On day 1, new features and enhancements of Alerts were introduced. Along with it, the community also saw the announcement of new upgrades; which included the likes of Channel Point unlocks, Alert Randomizer, Emote Customization, and more.
It's a celebration of the community and what's next at Twitch, live from the City of Lights.
