Ubisoft plans to announce several Assassin’s Creed games, including the two main Infinity projects on Saturday

According to two reliable leakers, Tom Henderson and Jason Schreier, more Assassin’s Creed titles, in addition to the already mentioned Assassin’s Creed Mirage, are anticipated to be announced this weekend (which we know is the next game in the franchise).

The first significant new game to be revealed, according to Henderson and Schreier, is codenamed Red and will be set in Japan, where Assassin’s Creed fans have been begging for the series to be located. A samurai-style assassin is purportedly among the first notions.

According to rumors, the second forthcoming major Assassin’s Creed game, code-named Hexe, is wholly unique for the franchise and is set during the latter days of the Holy Roman Empire and centered around witch trials.

A Bloomberg rumor claims that Assassin’s Creed: Infinity, the game that is anticipated to act as the basis for both of these games as well as other upcoming entries in the franchise, will be unveiled.

The speculations continue to talk about Mirage, which will bring back the early games’ stealth motif of carrying out murders clandestinely. It will reportedly occur in Baghdhad during the 800s.

Henderson’s story continues with talking about the Chinese-themed smartphone game Project Jade. A VR Assassin’s Creed game called Project Nexus is also mentioned, though it’s unclear if it will be shown this weekend.

At the Assassin’s Creed demonstration, which begins this Sunday at 5 a.m. AEST, it is anticipated that everything will be displayed. We will learn this week what the Assassin’s Creed franchise will do next, according to Ubisoft.
