Xbox Game Pass Core to replace Xbox Live Gold after 21 years; new catalogue would have 25 games

Recent developments brought to light that Microsoft is replacing Xbox Live Gold with a Game Pass Core tier on September 14, 2023. This will mark the end of Free Games facilitated by Gold. However, the change will bring in new benefits.

Players who are already subscribers of Xbox Live Gold will directly become Core subscribers.

Reports state that the new Xbox Game Pass Core will cost about 9.99 USD per month or 59.99 USD per year. It is to be noted that, the games which were available through Gold won’t be available after September 14.
