The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 was launched on April 13, 2023. The GeForce RTX 4070 comes 6 months after the release of the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 and 4 months after the release of the RTX 4070 Ti. The price of the Nvidia RTX 4070 is $599.99 USD, which is $200 cheaper than the GeForce 4070 Ti variant.

The NVIDIA RTX 4070 specs place the GPU lower down the Lovelace line-up ladder. It wields the same DLSS3 frame-boosting tricks as other RTX 4000 cards. It is a midrange card that will potentially provide better performance than the RTX 4060.
In the leaked information before its launch, it was said that the RTX 4070 was just as powerful as the RTX 3080 with DLSS enabled. This statement is now coming to the surface as reviews of the product. The consensus is that the 70-series card is suitable as a replacement for 3080 as it can boost fps at similar resolutions.
Another leak confirmed that the RTX 4070 will have 5888 CUDA cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. You can also expect the memory to run at a speedy 21 GBps. The GPU is expected to boost to a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz.
The RTX 4070 will have 12 GB GDDR6X VRAM. This is the same amount as the RTX 4070 Ti. It also has a TGP of 200W, which makes it an efficient card and it will be excellent for small form-factor builds.
