HMD Global that’s on a spree of launching multiple devices in multiple markets have now arrived with the back covers. You read it right, and it has come up with the sleek, stylish, and sustainable PULSE Icon Clean Case for the HMD Pulse, Pulse Pro, and Pulse Plus phones. The company says that these covers are made of 100% recycled materials and offer superior protection and perfect grip.

Sustainability has been a focus point of the company that it has highlighted multiple times earlier. Recently in an interview given to Forbes India the Vice President of India and APAC of HMD Global, Ravi Kunwar said that they will roll out the phones with “different kinds of specs: Sustainability, repairability, and data privacy”.

He said, “We’re making phones that you can fix yourself,”. We are making phones which appeal to Gen Z,”. He also mentioned that generation—born between the nineties and the noughties—prefers a brand that drives sustainability. “We needed to answer ‘what next’ for HMD,”. A similar strategy was seen with Nokia when it launched the Nokia X30 smartphone which it said the Nokia’s most sustainable phone to date. The company also announced the Nokia Circular plan that motivates the user to keep the phone for a longer duration by offering them free repair the damage and more.
