Intel officially unveils the all new Core Ultra CPUs that arrive with silicon dedicated to AI

On Thursday, Intel officially launched its 14th Gen Intel Core Ultra Processors at its AI Everywhere event. These are the company’s first range of processors that arrive with NPU which is dedicated to delivering AI experience to users.

In terms of performance, the new Intel Core Ultra has tri cluster CPU- Performance cores (P), Efficiency cores (E), and Low power efficiency cores (LP E). Below is the list of all the Intel Ultra core processors and their spec sheet.

Intel has highlighted some of the features of these new processors which make them better and efficient than the previous generation processors.

Intel Core Ultra 7 165H is said to offer up to 11% faster multi-threaded performance than AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, Apple Silicon M3, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 at similar power. The processors arrive with a 3D Performance architecture. Other than this the Intel Core Ultra processor offers up to 70% faster generative AI performance with GPU and NPU offload. The processors arrive with 3D performance hybrid architecture and Foveros 3D packaging.

The Intel Core Ultra processors arrive with up to 16 cores and 22 threads for ultrathin with support for up to 96GB of DDR5 or 64 GB of LPDDR5x memory, Thunderbolt 4 port, Intel WiFi 7, built-in XeSS and Intel Arc AI upscaling. The streaming video power is reduced by 25% with LP E-cores. The processors offer up to 2X gaming performance when compared to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor at 1080p. Intel’s H series chips come with built-in Arc GPU while the U-series CPUs arrive with Intel Graphics.

Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, Intel Core Ultra 7 164U, and Intel Core Ultra 5 134U processors won’t be available until 2024. Rest other processors have been launched. Samsung has already unveiled its latest Galaxy Book 4 series equipped with these newly launched processors.
