Meta AI Launches in EU and UK Through WhatsApp: Now Available to Users Across the Region
Meta – the multinational technology conglomerate has launched its Meta AI chatbot in the EU and UK regions via WhatsApp. Users in these regions can now start using the brand’s AI chatbot on WhatsApp and will be able to improve their user experience.

Meta’s artificial intelligence chatbot – Meta AI has already been made available to many users across the world, assisting them in various tasks as well as making their chat conversations more engaging and productive. The AI chatbot which is also integrated on Meta platforms such as WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, and which makes use of advanced LLMs like LLaMA 3.2, due to the data privacy regulations in EU and UK, wasn’t made available to the users in these regions. Now, through WhatsApp, Meta AI has been officially launched in the EU and UK.
Speaking more, in the coming days, apart from WhatsApp, users will also be able to access and find Meta AI on other Meta platforms too like Instagram and Messenger. However, for now, a few features like image editing and voice session won’t be available to users in the mentioned regions, but the brand is working on soon making it available to them and with future updates, they will be able to access these features as well.
As of now, WhatsApp users in the EU and UK regions are advised to update the application to its latest version in order to access Meta AI, and the update is currently available on Play Store for Android users and on App Store for iOS users.
