New Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 comes in with more enhanced Sleep tracking feature; starts at Rs 24999
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series comes in with advanced sleep monitoring along with the other ample features. The Sleep tracking feature offers detailed analysis of the user’s sleep activity. This is inclusive of the amount of time spent in various sleep stages, when the user is awake, how much they have slept, time spent on snoring and more. All these data can be reviewed in the smartwatch or in the Samsung Health app.
The Galaxy Watch 5, unlike other previous smartwatches, automatically detects when the user falls asleep and records the sleep activity. Additionally it also presents a sleep score. This is calculated based on the total time slept, the sleep cycles, movements and awakenings while sleeping and so on.
Other additional features layered with the sleep tracker includes monitoring of the user’s oxygen level during sleep. In previous versions like Watch 4, the watch used the smartphone’s microphone to listen to snores. However, in the Galaxy Watch 5, the watch does this by itself. Audio recording can be turned on as well that comes in the option to automatically delete the clips after7, 31 or 100 days.
Samsung India tweeted about the update along with an ad video that gives a glimpse of the new gadget’s features. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 starts at Rs 24999. Pre bookings will allow customers to get Galaxy Buds2 at Rs 2999.
