Playing Games In your BMW Car’s infotainment screen: Is future already here?

While you are stuck in a traffic jam but don’t like listening to music? BMW came up with another way of killing time during this situation.

The German automobile manufacturer BMW has tied up with AirConsole, an online video game console that comes with 180 + games to offer.

BMW and AirConsole announced their tie-up and will launch a car in 2023 with a feature of casual gaming.

The offered games are playable on the giant curved infotainment display. All the offered games will be easily playable on the car’s entertainment system.

The AirConsole technology will be used to access the games and will be updated over the air. Mobile phones will act as a controller to control these games.

According to BMW, these games will be easily installed on the infotainment system.

Scanning the QR code will establish a connection between the smartphone and the vehicle. The smartphone will be the controller and in tune with the BMW curved display.

Senior Vice-president of the BMW Group connected company development said “With AirConsole we will leverage innovative technologies combined with a broad variety of fun and multiplayer games. This will make every waiting situation inside the vehicle, such as charging an enjoyable moment.” (Source HindustanTimes Auto)
