Apple CEO Tim Cook told that Parler App may be back on the App Store
Apple CEO Tim Cook told that popular messaging app Parler will return to the Apple store with reform.
Apple suspended all downloads after the attack on the US Capitol on Jan 6, citing postings on the platform. Google and Amazon also cut ties with the company.
Cook justified suspending Parler, supported by Trump’s supporter.
The company chief said that they don’t encourage violence and took certain measures.
Parler sued Amazon on Monday after Amazon Web Services cut off the platform’s access to internet servers.
Parler allegedly points Amazon for helping rival networking app Twitter and violating anti-trust laws. Both these platforms have banned Trump.
Apple told that they have only suspended and if they get the moderation together, they would be back in Apple’s store.
Parler became popular after Twitter banned Trump’s personal profile after the Capitol attack. Cook said, “it was the most disheartening moment of his life and attack on our democracy.”
