BSNL Live TV App Testing Officially Started In India

BSNL recently became a part of headlines due to the rollout of its 4G services nationwide and now the company has once again become a part of headlines with its latest BSNL Live TV App. This latest app expands beyond traditional telecom services.

BSNL has today officially announced that this particular app is currently being tested in Madhya Pradesh.

The app service is currently offered to consumers for free as part of the testing phase. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. It is said that consumers with a BSNL FTTH connection and an Android Smart TV (version 10 or above) can avail of this free live TV service. The company has not revealed detailed information about this app though it is mentioned that in the testing phase, no additional data charges will be imposed on the consumer and no data will be deducted from their FTTH plan.

The service can be accessed via an app using WiFi on the BSNL FTTH connection. To get started follow the steps below-

  • Download the BSNL Live TV app from the Google Play Store
  • After installing the app, users should place a missed call to mobile number 9424700333
  • Once your number is registered via the missed call, BSNL Live TV will be installed on your TV
