Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro coming for iPads from May 23 , both apps to use subscription pricing for their iPad versions
Apple has arrived with good news today for iPad users, especially for those who have a keen interest in music and video creation. As you must have read from the headline, Apple is officially bringing its professional video editing software and audio editing software which was exclusive for Macs to their iPads.
As per reports, the Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, Bob Borchers said in a statement, “ We’re excited to introduce Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad, allowing creators to unleash their creativity in new ways and in even more places. With a powerful set of intuitive tools designed for the portability, performance, and touch-first interface of iPad, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro deliver the ultimate mobile studio .”
With Final Cut Pro the iPad users will be getting really exciting video creation tools like recording, editing, finishing, and sharing from one portable device. While with Logic Pro iPad users will receive a complete collection of tools for music creation – songwriting, beat making, recording, editing, and mixing.
The important thing for iPad users to consider is that Final Cut Pro requires an iPad with an M1-powered iPad model or later whereas Logic Pro requires an A12 Bionic-powered iPad model or later.
Final Cut Pro for iPad
The app introduces an all-new touch interface and intuitive tools like a new jog wheel to make the editing process easier, multi-touch gestures to navigate Magnetic timelines, move clips and make fast frame accurate edits and live drawing enabling one to directly write and draw on top of video content using Apple pencil, can add magic keyboard or smart keyboard folio and with Liquid Retina XDR display users can view and edit stunning HDR video. Along with these features like pro camera mode, multicam video editing, fast cut features with machine learning, pro graphics, effects, and audio along with import and export.
Logic Pro for iPad
This app includes some professional music creation features like multi-touch gestures, plug-in tiles, built-in mics, five-studio quality mics, Apple Pencil, an All-new sound browser, professional instruments, beat making, production tools, pro mixer, import, and export.

From May 23, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad will each be available on the App Store for $4.99 (Rs.499) per month or $49 (Rs.4,999) per year with a one-month free trial.
