Google Introduces its New “Circle to Search” Feature: Launching this Month on Premium Android Devices
Google, the California-based giant tech company, offers much better user convenience, through the “Circle to Search” feature. This new feature will be coming to premium Android devices at the end of this month.
Read more about it below.
Google’s “Circle to Search” Feature
Google Search is considered to be one of the most used search engines across the world, and the brand has been working on improving the search engine day by day. In this continued effort, AI integration, voice search, and Google Lens have all been brought to Google Search. Now, adding or taking the user experience one more step forward, Google’s “Circle to Search” feature will be making users capable of doing much more, but that is too easy and seamless.
The “Circle to Search” feature will let users search for anything they want without having to switch between two applications. Users will be able to launch the feature by long pressing on the home button or navigation bar and can circle, highlight, scribble, or tap on what to search, be it clothing, food items, furniture, or any other thing. Similar to how Google Lens works, the search result will be shown on the current app itself.
Well, this is not it, the AI upgrades will also allow users to circle a particular thing or maybe a text, for example, a food item or a banner, and will let them ask questions regarding it. The feature will be providing the proper response needed to its users, real quick.
This new feature will be launched officially on the 31st of January 2024 and will be introduced in premium Android devices including Google’s latest Pixel 8 series devices. Just to add, the newly unveiled Galaxy S24 series smartphones will also have this feature, and the flagships are said to be made available for purchase on this same day too.
