Google is using social media to have Apple implement RCS in its messaging service
As Google finally finds a solution to the issue of a messaging problem with the widespread use of RCS with end-to-end encryption, the corporation is pressuring Apple, its competitor, to follow suit by emphasising how the existing backup technique immediately compromises security.
Google LLC, is an American multinational technology firm. Search engine technology, online advertising, cloud computing, computer software, quantum computing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and consumer electronics are the main areas of interest for Google LLC, Due to its market domination, data collecting, and technical advantages, it has been referred to as the “most powerful firm in the world” and one of the most valuable brands in the world.
The flaws Google cites are most familiar to most people in the form of the green bubbles that represent messages to Android users in Apple’s Messagesingapp. While the iPhone app messages other iPhone users using Apple’s exclusive iMessage service, which includes modern features like encryption, group chat support, and high-quality photo and video uploads, they fall back on SMS and MMS when messaging an Android user.
In order to fix this, Google has been giving Apple overt hints in recent months to support RCS. In this approach, Google is launching a fresh public relations effort today to pressure Apple into embracing RCS, the cross-platform communications standard intended to replace the antiquated SMS and MMS protocols.
This year during its annual developer conference and through a number of tweets over the course of the months, the firm expressed the aim that “every mobile operating system… upgrades to RCS.”
iMessage should not benefit from bullying. Texting should bring us together, and the solution exists. Let’s fix this as one industry. 💚💙 https://t.co/18k8RNGQw4
