Google officially launches Locate Offline Devices Feature For Pixel 8 And Pixel 8 Pro Smartphones

We all have faced the situation of leaving our smartphones at a place and then not being able to find them. Well, locating our devices is the most hideous task especially when the device is in silent mode the mobile data is off, or maybe worse even the battery of the device is dead. Taking into consideration this issue, Google has rolled out an upgraded Find My Device network to its Android devices that will help users find their misplaced Android devices or other gadgets.

This Find My Device includes five ways among which one is Locate Offline Devices which will help to track the Google Pixel 8 series even when offline or the device is switched off. This feature helps users solve the above-mentioned issues as it locates their compatible Android phone or tablet by ringing them or viewing their location on a map in the app even when they are offline. Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro users will get to experience this feature on their devices since the hardware of the devices supports offline finding. The users can even use this feature even if the battery of their device is dead or the device is powered off.

As per reports, the Pixel 8 series is said to arrive with reserved power in the device for several hours and is channeled to the Bluetooth chip. With this, the users will be able to locate their devices for several hours even after their devices are switched off or turned off due to low battery.
