Google Wallet Found Available On Play Store For Some Indian Users
Once again Google Wallet has got the attention for the same reason that is its accessibility and availability for a few users in India while remaining still unavailable to the masses. Recently we saw an X user named Ishan Aggarwal reporting about the working of Google Wallet in India. The same user has once again come forth to report about its availability on Google Play Store. He wrote on X “Google Wallet is now available officially through Play Store in India”. The user has also shared an image that shows its availability for the user.
Google Wallet is now available officially through Play Store in 🇮🇳 India.
You will soon be able to store Indian loyalty cards, tickets, boarding passes and more. Of course, Tap to Pay that worked through GPay will keep working & GPay will stay as a separate app for now. pic.twitter.com/JI9uYlkROH

Another X user named Arjun Koroth also found the same. There were no such reports about it working on smartwatches though an X user named Prince said on X that Google Wallet was working on his smartwatch but after updating it, Google Pay stopped working for him. When the user uninstalled the update the Google Pay app again started working for him. This would mean, that either it’s not rolled out properly or rather a glitch in the matrix.
After updating the wallet on my watch showing this, i uninstalled the update and it's working again😂 pic.twitter.com/03dW4K1L2c

What did we find?
We found“This app is not available for any of your devices” written on the Play Store. This could mean this app has reached some while still reaching others.
As of now, this app was not reported to be available on the Play Store by any user but this can be an official start for the company to introduce this app in India. So far there is still no sign of this app on the Apple App Store.
Google Wallet
Google Wallet lets you save your Credit cards, loyalty cards, tickets, boarding passes, and much more in digital form on your Android device. Through this, users will also be able to make payments with NFC-supported handsets. In case the app happens to reach users through the Play Store, we can expect it too soon reach WearOS smartwatches soon too.
Since Google hasn’t announced any update regarding this, we should rather wait for an official announcement. And as soon as it is available, i will try to update you guys.
