iPhone and iPad users can now avail a new Picture-in-Picture feature on Twitter; read what the feature allows here

Apple device users will now have the option of watching videos on Twitter, even when they are outside Twitter’s interface. This means that you can play a video on Twitter, exit the platform and the video will still continue to play. The new feature is called “Picture-in-Picture”.

Twitter is making moves toward its video features lately. Recently, Elon Musk updated that Twitter users can watch Twitter videos on big TVs. We reported this for you, which you can check here. 

In recent developments, Twitter is rolling out a feature as a move towards enhancing the video features of the platform for its users. iPhone and iPad users can make use of this feature as of now. It’s not clear when this feature will be rolled out for other devices. A similar feature can be found in YouTube and other video content apps.

Twitter is now trying to prioritize video access on its platform. With short video formats taking over social media platforms, it seems Twitter is planning to make users stick to them for videos as well. The feature started rolling out recently and every user doesn’t have it. You can update the app, and see if it’s available for you.
