Movie Tickets and Boarding Passes will now be automatically added to Google Wallet; as per tipster

Cashless transactions have become the new normal and most of the population has been using this method to make and receive payments. There are many apps that make this mode of transaction possible, convenient and secure. Among these multiple applications, one is Google Wallet which is a mobile payment system launched in 2011.

Google Wallet is basically a digital wallet that allows users to securely store various forms of payment, passes, tickets, keys or IDs that offers convenience for in-person and online transactions. Today a user on X platform has informed that a new feature for Google Wallet has been released that will give users a more easy way to access their boarding passes and movie tickets.

As per the above post movie tickets and boarding passes will automatically be added to Google Wallet when you get a confirmation email in Gmail. This feature is live for some global movie chains and airlines but more partners will be added in the future. Apart from this users can also manually archive passes in Wallet (on both Mobile and Wear OS) which will move them down to the “Archived Passes” section.

This newly added feature will now enable faster airport check-ins for the users and also easy access of the movie ticket in case they are running late. This feature will probably available in countries where Google Wallet is available.
