Nothing Introduces New Recorder Widget: Discreet Call Recording Now Possible

Nothing, the British tech manufacturer, has introduced a new recorder widget and using which, the company claims that users can have discreet call recording functionality on their Nothing smartphones.

Here’s more about it.

New Nothing Recorder Widget for Discreet Call Recording

Usually smartphones prompt a message when a call is being recorded to inform the parties involved in it and Nothing has brought out its new recorder widget putting a stop to it. The news has been let out by Carl Pei himself, the CEO of Nothing. He has pointed out in his Twitter/X post that Nothing smartphone users have been asking for the discreet call recording feature and it is now available and made possible through the new recorder widget.

Even if this feature is something everyone have wanted, it does raise some individual privacy concerns too at the same time, which was the reason why the prompt message was brought in the first place.
