Paid features to be launched soon on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp by Meta

Meta-owned Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp will soon introduce new features that will be available only to people who pay for them. According to reports, Meta is establishing a new division for these commercial features, which customers will be able to purchase. Events and stars are already paid for features on Instagram and Facebook. The new segment looks to be distinct for paid subscribers to the features.

Unfortunately, it is unclear what specific paid features the brand will implement; but, it will undoubtedly increase the company’s earnings in the long run. That is the opinion of Meta VP John Hegeman. Meta already has an advertising business, and these new premium features will be a new category in and of itself for the company to create profits and business.

According to John Hegeman, these paid capabilities will not allow you to remove adverts from Meta apps. As a result, the advertisements will remain, but the additional features will go under the new division. The addition of premium services to the app will place Meta in the same league as Snap and Twitter. Telegram, too, has just unveiled a series of premium features.
