Amazon Prime Video is rolling out a new update in India that it says will improve the user experience with better clarity and simplicity. These new changes made to the Prime Video streaming platform will let you spend less time browsing and spend more time watching your favorite series.

New Navigation Bar And Hero Rotator
Prime Video has got new navigation bar that has destinations like “Home,” “Movies,” “TV Shows,” and “Live TV,” as well as active Prime Video Channels add-on subscriptions, allowing you to navigate by content type. You also get to see the “Prime” section in the navigation bar that allows you to browse movies, and TV shows available at no additional cost with a Prime membership. Just below this navigation bar, you get to see a new hero rotator that shows you content that you can watch.
Subscription And Plans At One Place
Now you can navigate and manage the add-on subscriptions directly from the navigation bar. You get up to 20 add-on subscriptions by selecting “Subscriptions.”It will also display you deals of subscriptions from third-party services, all in one place.
Personalized Recommendations Got Improved
AI-backed recommendations help Prime Video to recommend you the best based on your likes. You also get to browse now by taste and other categories such as “Top 10 in India”. The title cards will now appear with more information than before that tells you about which subscription the content is coming from. If a title requires additional payment, a yellow shopping bag will be visible.
New Animations And Smooth Transitions
New animations, smooth page transitions, and zoom effects are going to make the navigation frictionless and enjoyable. When you browse the content through the remote the video content will play on the hero rotator. And on the “Live TV” destination, recommended 24/7 stations will automatically start playing.
