Ransomware group Lockbit offered $1000 dollar to those who get their logos tattooed
Ransomware which is often spread via phishing emails containing malicious attachments is dangerous. Another case could be via drive-by downloading. Talking about the same, lockbit is one such ransomware group that has emerged as one of the biggest hacking groups to date. They are left untraceable, untrackable every time.
Several ransomware groups have been offering financial incentives in exchange for favors from people all over the world.
Previously, with the use of social platforms, lock bit ransomware group stated that they will be offering $1,000 as a gift to those who tattooed the Lockbit ransomware group logo on their body. When the news was out, it led to a way too chaotic environment amongst the netizens. However, the image shared by the Twitterati, while commenting about the $1,000 appears that they have been very true to what they say.
The image in a tweet was no one but three unidentified persons who together got the logo encrypted on their bodies. According to VX Underground, the Lockbit Ransomware group is also verifying that those who have done the tattoo are real. According to the post, the group is going to verify that by doing a one-on-one video call with each one of them.
Previously, Lockbit ransomware group stated online that they would pay anyone $1,000 if they tattooed the Lockbit ransomware group logo on themselves.
