Samsung rolls out a new Battery Widget for it’s Galaxy smartphones/ tablets- you can now monitor the battery level of all your devices
The South- Korean tech giant company Samsung is the most preferred brand whenever it comes to shop for smartphones and other electronic gadgets. This is because Samsung products arrive with innovative technologies and advanced features to ease the work of users. The brand also rolls out timely updates for its devices in order to enhance user experience. Currently, the company has started it’s One UI 6 Beta program and very soon the company will be releasing the stable version of One UI 6 for all users.
Ahead of all this, the company has now rolled out a much-needed feature for it’s Galaxy users. As officially announced by the company, users will now be able to add its new Battery widget to the home screen of their Galaxy smartphones/tablets. Wondering what’s special in this widget?
Well with this new widget Galaxy users can now get a quick overview of the current battery percentages of their Galaxy devices. By adding this widget to the home screen, you can ensure that other devices like Galaxy Watch 5 or Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are sufficiently charged all the time. To get this widget users are advised to update their smartphones/tablets to the latest software version.
How to add a Battery Widget to the Home screen?
- Press and hold onto a black space on the Home Screen of your device
- Tap on Widgets
- Tap on Battery and select which type of widget you would like to use, then tap on Add
After following these steps the Battery widget will appear on your Home screen. Users can also customize this battery widget by following the below steps-
- Press and hold on the widget and tap Settings
- You’ll be able to customize the widget with- “Devices to show” or background color.
