“Two new tiers of X Premium subscription launching soon”- Musk
Musk-owned X(formerly known as Twitter) is planning to introduce two new tiers of X premium with different benefits for each tier. This announcement has been made by Musk through an X post. He also mentioned that one is lower cost that will come with all the benefits but won’t see any reduction in ads. And those with an expensive tier won’t have to see any ads at all.
Starting today, we're testing a new program (Not A Bot) in New Zealand and the Philippines. New, unverified accounts will be required to sign up for a $1 annual subscription to be able to post & interact with other posts. Within this test, existing users are not affected.

Those who have subscribed to X Premium see approximately 50% fewer ads as a benefit. Musk’s plan to introduce an expensive tier will not require users to see even 50% of ads but at a cost. One change that has raised the concern of users is charging for key features like tweets and retweets.
Two new tiers of X Premium subscriptions launching soon.
One is lower cost with all features, but no reduction in ads, and the other is more expensive, but has no ads.

Just recently X informed us that it’s “testing a new program in New Zealand and the Philippines”. Under this program, unverified accounts will have to pay a $1 annual subscription “to be able to post and interact with other posts”.
