There is a number of interesting features waiting to be accessed in Telegram’s new update. These features include power saving mode, optimization for lower-end Android devices, playback speed setting, and many more things. These things have come to light through the blog post on Telegram.
Power Saving Mode
Telegram’s GIFs and animations give another kind of feel than any other social media platform but these things can be switched off in case your phone has got less battery. You can manually set the percentage of battery when power saving mode will get enabled automatically and disable all the automatic features like video play, stickers animation, and GIF animation. This will ensure that the least amount of battery is used for prolonged usage.
Playback Speed
Users could easily change the playback speed of videos, podcasts, and songs shared on Telegram but now it has become more awesome than that with granular control. Now you can choose any speed between 0.2x-2.5x. Just you need to tap on the 2x button and choose any speed for audio or podcast. It can be changed for videos by tapping on three dots in the left top of the video and then going for the Playback Speed option. There you get the freedom to move the slider and choose any speed between 0.2x to 2.5x.
Individual read receipts
Next time when you send a message in a group you can check the timing when different members of the group saw the message. This can be seen in groups under 100 members.
Invite via the link now
There are some users on Telegram who have disabled the feature that enables anybody to add them in groups. So to solve this issue this update has brought a link method. This method enables you to directly send the invite link of a group to someone and they will be able to join through this link.
Dynamic Pack Order disable option
Telegram ensures that recently used stickers stay on the top of your stickers section but now it can be disabled. Just you need to go into settings and switch off the Dynamic Pack Offer.
A new set of Emojis for premium users
For premium users, this update has brought ten new packs of custom emojis.
Interactive version of existing emojis
Animators have given a completely new look to 👾😡😎 🤷♀️🤷🤷♂️ these emojis. As soon as you will send in one on one chat and tap on it you will see a full-screen effect with your partner on the other side. These emojis can easily be used by anyone.

According to the Telegram Blog post, this update took them two weeks break from implementing new features and eliminated over 400 known imperfections from the Telegram app.
