Use Nothing Phone Glyph Interface and Interact with your Phone like never before

In the era of notifications and updates, it’s hard to stay focused. And smartphones are one of the biggest sources of distraction. You must have come across a situation when you grabbed the smartphone to do task A but did b and ended up wasting a lot of time.

Nothing’s Glyph Interface can be a solution to this issue and upcoming smartphones have begun adapting this. The Nothing Phone(2) Glyph Interface allows a user to keep track of an array of functions and that too without looking at the screen.

We will tell you how you can take advantage of the Nothing Phone(2) Glyphy Interface to stay focused on your work and keep track of other things.

Glyph Interface as a timer

In case you want to perform any function for a particular amount of time and don’t want to look at the screen continuously, this can help you. You can use the LEDs as a countdown timer, you just need to set the timer and flip the phone and rest it face down.

As soon as you do it, you will see the Glyph LED strip turn on and it will slowly fade with time.

Custom ringtone with Glyph Composer

You can create your own ringtones and glyph patterns using the new Glyph Composer app. This app presents you glyph synced sound that you can use to customize as per your taste. Nothing OS 2.0 also brings an exclusive Swedish House Mafia sound pack thus making ringtones more interesting than ever before.

Third-party app notifications and update

Ever since the Nothing Phone(1) has come, users have been demanding third-party app support for the Glyph Interface. Nothing known to this brought this with Nothing Phone(2). As of now the integration is only available for the Uber app and will soon be available for other apps too.

It would be like you won’t have to look at the screen, again and again, to check the cab, reaching your destination. A glyph light will indicate it to you.

Volume level indicator

You can easily set the glyph LEDs to work as a volume level indicator. And as soon as you press the volume button Glyph LED strip will automatically indicate the level of volume.

Get notification through Glyphy light

In case you don’t want to check your phone while doing an important task, you can simply select apps and contacts for which you want to be notified. And as soon as you receive any notifications from selected apps and contacts, Glyph Interface will light up and notify you.
