Vivo is planning to rollout Funtouch OS 13 for its other smartphones lineup
In August 2022, Google unveiled the Android 13 smartphone operating system. Vivo then quickly introduced Funtouch OS 13, an Android 13-based operating system, for its flagship smartphone, the Vivo X80 Pro.
The company is currently preparing to introduce Funtouch OS 13 to more of its smartphone models. It is important to note that the OS will make its debut in 2022. For the majority of Vivo’s high-end smartphones before moving on to the more affordable models in 2023.
Improved control via iManager, app pinning to prevent others from viewing other apps. And a new stabilizer ring in the viewfinder while taking images are all noteworthy updates. Additional options, including icons that match the background. That is provided by FunTouch for customizing the appearance of the home screen.
For those who like a clean aesthetic, the Monochrome Icon option enables the Settings menu to be in a single color. The option to pin apps is one of the security improvements. Users have the option to hide particular images from their devices by using the three-dot menu in the gallery.
The manager program is Vivo’s unique approach to organizing all phone settings.
With Funtouch 13, keeping track of app usage time and improving the user experience are both greatly streamlined.
Now, the app can alter CPU frequency based on the cooling capacity of the phone and minimize running programs. CPU-intensive programs are stopped with one tap.
A significant improvement in video editing now makes it possible to mute the soundtrack while making any changes to specific locations, particularly in the era of Reels and TikTok videos. A horizontal swipe swiftly toggles between vibrance, brightness, contrast, and exposure; a vertical swipe switches between +100 and -100; and photo editing is now possible within the viewfinder.
