WhatsApp beta for iOS gets a new update, includes a redesigned chat attachment menu
Lately, WhatsApp is bringing in new features and updates. They have been testing and implementing more enhanced features.
Recently, WhatsApp enabled a ‘receive notification if mentioned’ feature for muted WhatsApp chat groups. We covered that update for you.
In recent developments, it has been reported that WhatsApp has forwarded a new update through the TestFlight beta Program. With this, the latest version of WhatsApp for iOS would be 23.12.0.71.
Now you might be wondering what this new update would bring to the table.
WhatsApp is planning on introducing a new chat attachment feature. At present, this feature is only available to some beta testers.
The new feature is labeled as “Chat attachment menu”.
This feature is supposed to be accessible with the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.12.0.71. However, some users might also be able to access it by installing the previous 23.12.0.70 update. More users other than the beta testers who have access now, will be able to experience this feature in the coming days.
This new feature would bring in more enhanced options to share media within our chat. The current chat attachment menu has been around for some time. About time, WhatsApp had to change the current menu.
The redesign in this updated WhatsApp for iOS would allow a user to access the chat attachment menu in both dark and light themes. Additionally, the chat attachment menu wouldn’t be a vertical list anymore.
