What if we tell you that just like mail you can now access the Draft Message feature in Whatsapp chat as well? Recently this message draft feature was announced for WhatsApp and now this feature is officially being rolled out for Android and iOS users.
As seen in the above image, on Google Play Store the update is available for Android users. With this update Message drafts are now indicated with a Draft label in the chat list. This feature is made available for iOS users as well via a new update through the App Store.
What is this Message Draft feature?
This feature was designed to help users keep track of partially composed messages, making it easier to revisit and complete them later. With this feature enabled, the text of any incomplete message is displayed right in the chat list marked with the Draft label, so users can see what they were writing without opening the conversation.
Unlike before, where users had to remember or check each chat manually the new Draft label now makes it clearer which conversations have unfinished messages at a glance. For users who frequently leave messages unfinished, this draft label ensures they don’t accidentally forget to send important messages.
