X TV App Beta Version Now Available On Selected Android TVs; Stable Version Expected To Roll Out Soon

We all have been enjoying YouTube, Netflix and other OTT apps on Smart TVs from a long time now streaming our favorite shows, movies and much more. And very soon we will be able to access X on our TVs too. Yes you read that correctly.

X is all set to enter the TV interface and as per reports X TV app will not only act as a social media platform but it will be a new video streaming platform for the users. Elon Musk, CEO of X (formerly Twitter) has now officially confirmed that X TV App Beta Version is now out for selected Android TVs.

The Beta version is now live on LG, Amazon Fire TV and Google TV. The exact launch timeline is not officially revealed but we may soon see the stable version on our Smart TVs thouh the stable version may reach in different countries at different times.

It is said that the X TV app will only be accessible to Internet subscribers of X-Stream services. Users can enjoy news, sports, music, movie and can even view watch weather channels immediately or at a later time. Some of the X TV app features include- Replay TV where users can store up to 72 hours of shows in the cloud, Startover TV feature to watch the beginning of a show or movie and Free Cloud DVR where users can store up to 100 hours of DVR recordings for free.

Some more integrations could also be introduced in the app before the official version is rolled out for all the Android TV users.
