Vivo Y36 launched officially in China with specs and design different from the global variant of the device
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has recently unveiled Vivo Y36 smartphone in the global markets with both 4G and 5G variants. Now the brand has launched the Y36 5G in Chinese markets but the Chinese variant arrives with a different design and specs from that of the global variant. Let’s take a look.
Vivo Y36 5G: Design & Specifications (Chinese variant)
This newly launched smartphone arrives with the same rectangular camera module as the global variant but the only difference is in the position of the LED flashlight. The Chinese variant of the device features an LED flashlight below the camera sensors while it is placed on the right side in the global variant.
If we talk about the specifications, the smartphone arrives with a smaller 6.56-inch display that has a waterdrop notch and offers HD+ resolution along with a 90Hz refresh rate. The global variant featured a 6.64-inch display with a center punch hole for the selfie camera. Vivo Y36 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. It runs on Android 13 OS.
It is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging which is less than the 44W fast charging speed supported by the global variant. The camera specs also do differ from the global variant, as the Chinese variant packs up 13MP and 5MP camera sensors on the rear side while the 2MP depth camera remains the same.
