Anonymous Claims To Have Hacked Another Russian Bank: Plan To Disclose 100 GB Of Data
Anonymous claimed to have hacked Russia’s central bank in late March. They then released hundreds of gigabytes of data, which disclosed numerous bank contracts, discussions, and transactions. A hacking group operating under the moniker ANONYMOUS RABBIT was responsible for the cyberattack.
The public’s attention has recently been drawn to the hacker group NB65, commonly known as Battalion 65. We aren’t hearing about any of these hackers for the very first time.
In March, a Russian spy satellite has been hacked. An examination of the source code that brought the satellite to a halt indicated that the hackers had made considerable use of the well-known Russian ransomware Conti, which had previously caused enormous damage in the United States and Europe.
Russian bank JSC Bank PSCB Has Been Hacked
JSC Bank PSCB, you are now controlled by Network Battalion 65. We're very thankful that you store so many credentials in Chrome. Well done.
It's obvious that incident response has started. Good luck getting your data back without us.

The NB65 team recently announced that they had successfully hacked into the Russian bank JSC Bank PSCB’s computers.
They also obtained transaction details, tax information, banking customer information, datasets, token data, as well as other data, according to the released report. They reported that their machines are encrypted using modified Russian ransomware called Conti, among several other things.
In other tweets, the hackers gave a sneak peek at the content they had acquired. They also stated that approximately 800 GB of data will be released in the next few days.
The Bottom Line
To summarize, we seem to be unable to authenticate the hacker’s claims, and this should improve in the days ahead as the data is released. The hacker group Network Battalion 65, on the other hand, has demonstrated on multiple occasions that it is capable of effectively attacking even the most secure networks.
For someone who doesn’t know, Anonymous is a hacker collective that conducts cyber attacks against strategic firms and state networks across Russia to destabilize Putin’s dictatorship, which has caused a war with our eastern neighbour.
