Amazon announces top startups from its AGSP programme
Earlier this year in January, Amazon India announced a partnership with Startup India. The company launched Amazon Global Selling Propel (AGSP) Accelerator program as a partner.
The programme is aimed towards providing dedicated support to emerging Indian brands to reach customers around the world through the company’s Global Selling Program.
Amazon had conducted a mentorship board among Amazon leaders from India and across the world, heads from Startup India and Invest India. Startup India and Invest India will be responsible to engage with emerging brands and provide them with adequate resources including 1:1 mentorship on global demand patterns and insights on building successful exports business through e-commerce.
Amazon mentioned that the startups chosen for this program would be given the opportunity to showcase their business proposition to partner VC firms including Sequoia Capital India and Fireside Ventures. Additionally, the chosen startups will be given a chance to win a total equity-free grant worth $50,000 from Amazon exclusively.
After two-and-a-half months, Amazon has now announced the startups that have been chosen for this program. There are 10 shortlisted startups from over 500 applications from 120 cities received in 2.5 weeks of the launch of the program.
The shortlisted startups include:

- D’Moksha
- Soulflower
- Wellbeing
- Femora
- Rage Coffee
- Sirona
- Slurrp Farm
- Why Wait
- True Elements.
