Check out the new Credit/Debit card and UPI payment updates for making GST Payments

Last year GSTN issued a new advisory as per which taxpayers were allowed to make GST payments using Credit/Debit cards or UPI. Earlier the facility was available via limited banks and in limited states but then more states and banks started to join in.

As per a new GSTN update, Credit/Debit Card Payments are now available via ICICI Bank while UPI payments are now enabled through Karur Vysya Bank.

Currently, this facility is applicable for all UPIs, Credit/Debit cards powered by Rupay, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners via Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and Canara Bank. While UPI payments are also enabled via Karnataka Bank.
