WhatsApp with its latest update has brought out a few new features for its users, offering more customization options and ensuring a more enhanced user experience. Chat themes, add music on status, and upgraded avatars are the newly-introduced features.

Chat Themes, Add Music on Status, and Upgraded Avatars Now on WhatsApp
As mentioned above, the latest WhatsApp update has brought features like chat themes, add music on status, and upgraded avatars to the widely used messaging app, and these can now be accessed by users.
The chat theme menu can be accessed on the latest version of WhatsApp by opening a chat and tapping on the three dots icon at the top-right corner. In the drop down menu, users can find the ‘Chat theme’ option, click on it and on the next page, they will be able to find certain preset chat themes or they may customize one for themselves by choosing from the given chat color choices and selecting a wallpaper (from the given images, from Gallery, or by setting a color).
To add music on WhatsApp status, users before uploading the status can just tap on the music icon that can be found at the top of the status upload page, and then search for songs or artists in the pop-up window. From the available songs, one can be added on to the status.
Apart from these two new features, the WhatsApp avatars have been upgraded too, making them look more human-like and appear similar to its users. For those of you who haven’t created an avatar on WhatsApp yet, open a chat and tap on the sticker icon at the left corner of the message bar. There find the avatar option and create one for yourself – either by taking a selfie or by creating it manually.
